Poplar Grove's holiday light festival opens Thanksgiving weekend with campfires, visits with Santa, a decorated manor house, a juried gift show, food trucks and live music. Tickets are $10 for all ages. It runs 5 to 9 PM, so dress children warmly for an evening outdoors, and the firepits give everyone somewhere to thaw out. The festival repeats over the following weekends in December.
