Description

Lewis Nursery and Farms is a third-generation family farm in Rocky Point, in northern Pender County. During the spring and early-summer season it opens for U-pick strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries, with strawberries typically ready in April and picking running into early July. The farm also hosts seasonal activities in the fall. It is a hands-on outdoor destination where kids can pick their own fruit. Because the farm is seasonal, families should check the current season, hours, and what's ripe before heading out. (The farm's separate retail market on Gordon Road is in Wilmington, outside this area.)
