J-Vegas Retro Arcade

J-Vegas Retro Arcade is a free-play arcade on Western Boulevard in Jacksonville that mixes 1980s classics with newer machines. Admission is $9.99 for 2 hours of free play, so there are no quarters, tokens or card swipes once inside. Every machine is set to free play except the prize machines, which cost $0.50 to $1 per play. The floor has more than 100 games, including Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug, Tapper, Mario Kart Arcade GP, Golden Tee PGA Tour, air hockey, a pool table and Guitar Hero Arcade. Everyone who enters pays admission, including non-players, and children under 36 inches tall get in free. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The arcade sells candy bars, ice cream and sodas and does not serve alcohol.
