Game On Escapes & More runs five themed escape rooms in Morehead City, just across the bridge from Atlantic Beach. Every booking is 100% private, so a family plays only with its own group while searching for clues and solving puzzles against a 60-minute clock. Rooms include Odin's Trial, a Norse mythology adventure where players wield Thor's hammer; Revolutionary Betrayal, a historical spy mystery about a traitor in the ranks; and The Collector, where teams recover stolen items for an auction house. Morehead Manor and Dr. Love have creepier themes and higher age minimums, so parents should check each room's age guidance before booking. Most rooms are recommended for ages 8 and up, and players under 14 must have a parent or guardian actively playing along, not just watching. Most rooms take 3 to 8 players. No one is ever physically locked in, and players may step out at any time. A game master watches each session and gives hints whenever a team gets stuck, with no penalty for asking. Reservations are required and are made online in advance; arriving 5 to 10 minutes early leaves time for check-in and the waiver. The building is wheelchair accessible, parking is free, and birthday parties can be arranged.
