FireFlies Pottery & Art Studio

Description

FireFlies Pottery & Art Studio is a paint-your-own-pottery studio on Gould Road in Jacksonville. Families can drop in, choose from more than 300 ceramic pieces, and paint their designs with help from studio staff if they want guidance or a new technique. The studio also offers canvas painting, basket projects, artist-led classes, birthday parties, and group gatherings. For pottery painting, visitors leave their finished pieces to dry and be fired in the kiln. The studio contacts them when the pieces are ready, usually in three to seven days. Pottery painting therefore involves a separate pickup trip. Drop-in painting does not require a reservation; groups and parties can be scheduled ahead. The studio posts weekly specials, including a Wednesday offer for two painters to share one studio fee. Its website lists current hours and gives families a way to plan classes and group activities before a visit.
